We arrived late and were greeted immediately with warm hospitality.
The accommodations were clean and inviting. In the morning we were pleased to see that the view was just as amazing as our hosts had been to us the entire time. David Robbins Homestead is a beautifully maintained historic place both in age and in experience. I highly recommended this bed and breakfast to anyone who wants to set the standards high for future stays at other places of similar approach. - Facebook

Thoughtful amenities · Spacious rooms · Quiet rooms- Facebook
We had the BEST experience at the David Robbins Homestead! The innkeepers are wonderful and they had a outdoor fire ready for us when we settled in for the evening. The rooms are very nice and we slept in great comfort. Breakfast on the deck in the sun was to die for! We will be back for certain!!

This is a homey B & B in a very nicely renovated, but not overdone, very old farmhouse. The setting is quiet and secluded with nice views. The breakfasts are scrumptious and made to order. The hosts were friendly and engaging. Yvonne was very helpful with guiding us to restaurants, hiking, and museums and answering our questions about the area. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and we hope that we’ll have the opportunity to make a return visit sometime.

A fabulous weekend was had at this delightful B&B! The owner Yvonne was most gracious, the homestead was cozy, warm and inviting, food was fabulous, the bed was SO comfortable, and I simply can’t say enough good things about this B&B. Definitely a B&B to return to.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Homestead. First, the hosts, Tom and Yvonne, are probably my favorite hosts ever. There was a familiarity about them that’s difficult to put into words. Sometimes you know you’re going to like someone the moment you meet them. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and their good cooking. Hope they finish the barn and woodshop before I make it back there (they’re building it themselves!)
The home itself was as charming as they are. Loved seeing the chickens and turkey’s running around. I was there in July for a woodworking class at Lie-Neilson which was a short 10 min drive away. Being able to jump in the lake when the weather got toasty was an added bonus. - Google

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast with extremely well kept rooms and an amazing cooked breakfast that was very tasty. All this in a secluded and quiet location on the water where you can just relax and watch the clouds or star go by. - Google

"Fantastic homestead B&B! " - Tripadvisor
Beautiful clean, comfortable room with stunning view of lake and fields. Breakfast was delicious, it was blueberry season. We were so involved in conversation with the other guests and Tom and Yvonne that when we looked up, a relaxing two hours had gone by. We were in Union for a concert at Savage Oakes Vineyard. If you haven't seen a summer concert there you should. When you go to Savage Oakes, stay at David Robbins Homestead, it's only a few minutes drive!

"Lovely and warm B&B with hosts Yvonne and Tom to match. The grounds including the wildflower fields and roving chickens made it especially scenic. Looking forward to coming back." - Google

"While I have stayed at a number of B&B's over the years, I have to say, hands down, this was the nicest experience I have ever had! Not only do Tom and Yvonne create a warm and friendly home environment, the house is nicely located on Seven Tree Pond (really a lake) which brings a lot of wildlife to see while the calls of the loons in the evening bring a satisfying close to the day. I simply cannot offer a superlative of the days that went far beyond my expectations!" - Facebook

“Love the Homestead!” - Tripadvisor
"My stay was fantastic. Yvonne was the greatest. Breakfast on the deck was awesome. Fried eggs were just perfect. Very good coffee. Quiet surroundings. Overlooking the lake. I had stayed for 8 straight years when this was the Rowan Tree Farm B&B. The great hospitality continues on. I will definitely return next year on my trip to Maine."

"A Wonderful Maine Excursion x 2" - Tripadvisor
"I visited at the David Robbins Homestead twice this year. August, for the Union WildBlueberry Festival, October for a trip up to Acadia. Tom and Yvonne Pitzi, the owners of this wonderful place are sweet, attentive and down to earth. The sunrise suite rocks, hint, leave the shades up. The breakfast is generous, tasty and local ingredients are used. A + in my book and I am an experienced traveler. " A treasure to those who choose to visit!"
